  • Bean-to-Bar Chocolate from Park City, Utah Ritual Chocolate began when the founders, Anna Seear & Robbie Stout transformed a tiny 400sq ft studio and converted it into a chocolate making kitchen, with the sound of chocolate grinders lulling them to sleep every night. Every angle of their backyard had PVC pipes for winnowing shells and they converted a chicken rotisserie oven into a cacao bean drum roaster. It was a beautiful mess although they loved every moment of it! With plenty of trial and error, they continued the craft and have come to own a chocolate making factory in the mountains of Utah, using old world techniques combined with new world machinery for crafting the best & smoothest chocolate possible.
  • Operating out of their small factory in Eureka, California, Adam Dick and Dustin Taylor of Dick Taylor source the finest fair-trade organic cacao from around the world and craft it into truly delicious chocolate. The path to bean-to-bar chocolate was far from a conventional one for these boys, as former boat makers whose business evolved from their love of carefully crafting their wares. Today, their meticulous approach of artistry and craftsmanship has metamorphosed into the production of some truly original craft chocolate, the result of extraordinary sourcing adventures and a very hands-on approach, particularly when it comes to roasting their beans in order to bring out the very best flavours. Their efforts have truly paid off. Their delicious inclusions lines and single origin bars, with a particular nod to their micro-batch limited edition bars crafted from some of the world’s rarest beans, are sure to delight and excite. After being beautifully moulded, the chocolate is finally wrapped up somewhat regally, with the front of each bar bearing an illustration of a boat under construction as a homage to their former jobs.

  • Like many businesses do, Crow + Moss began in a basement. One day, driving home from work, owner Mike Davies was overcome by the desire to learn how to make craft chocolate. It was a sudden and all encompassing feeling, a life changing moment -- and one he knew he couldn't ignore. Over the next few months, he put together his initial set up (a small coffee roaster, a Champion juicer for cracking and pre-refining, a Diamond melanger, a small tempering machine and a neon pink hair dryer for winnowing that he stole from his wife) and got to work. It was a rabbit hole he never crawled back out of (his wife has since had to get a new hair dryer). Now, Crow + Moss is making artisan chocolate in one hundred pound batches in our 2000 square foot factory in Petoskey Michigan, trying to bring out unique and true-to-bean flavor experiences to share with chocolate lovers everywhere.
