Antica Dolceria Bonajuto is the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily, and is still operated by the Bonajuto family, now in its sixth generation as artisan confectioners.

The chocolate directly descends from Aztec Xocoàtl, a culinary treasure brought to Europe by the Spanish in the 16th century, which has preserved its characteristic features as well as its very old processing method.

The Bonajuto Chocolate has few ingredients and a centuries-old history.
